It is with great pleasure that I welcome all the participants, teachers, and parents to the Annual Unionville Music Competition. As we gather to celebrate the joy of music, we are excited to witness the exceptional talents of our contestants who have worked tirelessly to perfect their craft. This competition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our young musicians, and we are honored to have them share their gifts with us. Our adjudicators, who are experts in their respective fields, will provide insightful and constructive feedback to help our performers reach their full potential. We are thrilled to announce that the most outstanding performers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at the highly anticipated Gala Concert & Award Presentation. This is a momentous occasion that recognizes the extraordinary achievements of our contestants and serves as a source of inspiration for all aspiring musicians. We are a community of passionate musicians who are dedicated to bringing the joy of music to our local community. We understand that classical music can sometimes feel inaccessible or intimidating, especially for young people. That's why we have created a program that is tailored to engage and inspire our young audiences, with special concert formats and age-based programs that make classical music come to life in a fun and exciting way. As a community-focused organization, we are committed to making classical music accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background. That's why we offer a range of programs and events that allow us to share the beauty of music with the broader community. Our most promising students recommended by our expert adjudicators will have the chance to participate in "Star's Concerts" organized by UMC for nursing homes, hospitals, kindergartens, and other community events in the upcoming year. We believe that music has the power to bring people together, and we are proud to be a part of a community that values and supports the arts. So join us as we celebrate the incredible talents of our young musicians and work together to make classical music a part of our community's fabric. The Competition is scheduled to start on December 9 (with an extension to December 6 if needed) and finish on December 23, 2023.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

We only accept one payment option for the competition fees, which is e-transfer. Please send the fees to umusicompetition@gmail.com under the name "Music Competition". Avoid using Tangerine Bank or EQ Bank, as it may cause errors on our side.

Auto deposit is set up, so please do not include security questions or answers, as they are not needed. Please remember to include the student's full name, instrument, and parents' contact information in the message section of your transaction.
