
Maya K. Vasserman is a classically trained pianist, educator, and certified music therapist with more than 30 years of teaching and performance experience. She earned her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Education from Tel Aviv University. Her dynamic artistic career includes solo recitals, chamber music collaborations, and appearances with jazz ensembles. Maya’s repertoire spans the great masters: Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Debussy, reflecting both technical brilliance and expressive artistry. A passionate and dedicated educator, Maya works with students of all ages in private and group settings, specializing in piano and chamber music. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Hebrew, and Russian, enabling her to connect meaningfully with diverse communities. Her creative approach blends performance with education through thoughtfully designed concerts, lectures, and workshops, that integrate interdisciplinary themes such as numerology, visual arts, science, and wellness, making each program engaging and inspiring. As Founder and Artistic Director of One-of-a-Kind Concerts, Maya curates engaging live music experiences for audiences both young and young at heart. For over 20 years, the company has presented innovative educational concerts, lectures, and seminars featuring professional musicians across genres, from classical and jazz to pop and film music.
