Alina Grunina’s academic background includes formal training at prestigious international institutions: Kharkiv State College of Music, Manhattan School of Music. She has refined her
technique through master classes with acclaimed world-class guitarists such as David Russell, Roland Dyens, Ricardo Iznaola, and David Tanenbaum. For over three years, she has served as a guitar teacher and mentor for High Notes Avante, a charity organization that uses music to support individuals touched by mental health challenges.
Her past teaching experience includes positions at the Long Island Conservatory of Music and the Queens Music and Dance School. Also, her experience teaching
guitar, theory and ear-training at the Queens School of Music, New York and Long Island Conservatory of Music, New York where she gained a reputation of a caring and serious
musician and pedagogue among her students and amongst her colleagues-musicians.
Alina currently operates her Private Studio in Richmond Hill.
