Anastasia Pogorelova, coloratura soprano, born in Moscow where she obtained her Master’s degree in Opera and Chamber Music as well as Teaching from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. Sang in Vishnevskaya Children’s Theatre performing in Europe and throughout Russia.

In 2016 she moved to Toronto. She performs as a recital artist and with opera companies such as SOLT, OIC, Elora singers Academy, Opera NUOVA (Edmonton), Halifax SOF.

As a teacher she worked at Roots Education Inc, Wonder Music School, World Academy of Music. Anastasia has been invited to run workshops in Alexander Mackenzie High School of Arts,  Barbershop Society, Luminis Choir etc. She runs Anastasia Pogorelova Voice Studio where she teaches vocal technique kids and adults of all levels preparing them for exams, competitions and auditions. Experiences in theatrical arts, historical dances, clowning, voicing over, guitar and piano. In addition to English and Russian, Anastasia is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
